While many of our manufacturers have been with us at SISCO for decades, we are always looking for new and innovative products to help us best serve the needs of our dealers and customers.

Located in Greenville, Ohio, SISCO is ideally located to service our territory.  With over 35,000 square feet of office and warehouse space standing on 10 acres, we are fully staffed to provide warehousing, marketing, parts, service, delivery and financial services to a growing number of agricultural and outdoor power equipment dealers.  Our experienced sales force is comprised of hands-on individuals equipped with trucks and trailers which enable them to “show and sell” as they travel.

Company History:

SISCO began as a side project for Marion and Vrina Grimes in 1945.  Marion, who worked as a salesman for a farm chemical company, became interested in the farm implement business as he visited his customers over a 19 county area in Ohio.  He discussed his ideas with his wife, Vrina, and Superior Implement and Supply Company , or SISCO, was born from their kitchen table in Greenville, Ohio.

SISCO first sold stillcraft corn pickers, Allied Hoe (manufactured in nearby Ansonia), American Aggregate equipment, as well as other implements from several companies in Michigan.

In 1946 the Grimes’ decided to make SISCO their full-time work, and with the work quickly outgrowing their kitchen table, they incorporated in 1947 and moved their offices to the Weaver Building on Broadway in Greenville.  By 1952, the company began expanding the product lines offered when it moved to its current location on State Route 571 west of Greenville.

In 1991, Jerry McConaha, the son-in-law of Grimes, took over as Owner and President.  In 2005, McConaha sold the company to long-time employee Ben Overholser and his wife Gail.  Ben passed away in 2021 after a battle with cancer, but Gail and their son Josh are keeping the company going strong as they strive to keep Marion and Vrina’s vision of providing quality products and excellent service alive and well to this day.  SISCO currently offers over 15 different quality product lines to its dealers.
